Derby City Council logoApproved Supplier List -  An Update
A number of voluntary and community Groups in Derby have contacted us regarding the recent implementation of an Approved Provider list by Derby City Council's Children and Young People's Department. This is currently being considered as part of the Derby Compact - an agreement between Derby City Council and the voluntary and community sector.

The issues that have been raised are currently being progressed but there are a number of misunderstandings where clarification has been provided:
  • Whilst the list 'closed' at the end of January anyone who was not able to meet this deadline can still complete the process.
  • The process will remain open for anyone who did not initially feel it applied to them who then find they wish to deliver a contract.
Further support regarding the Approved Provider list is available from Tim James on 01332 716830 or email Tim James.

If your group has an issue that you feel should be addressed under the Derby compact then you can approach one of the Compact Forum members. The current list of members can be found on the Community Action website.
