Modernisation Fund - Loans from £30k to £500k

Are you experiencing an increase in demand for your services as a result of the recession?  Do you need to strengthen and modernise your organisation in response to the current economic climate?

The Modernisation Fund, managed by The Social Investment Business, can provide interest-free loans to third sector organisations that are planning to merge or collaborate, or are taking other steps to adapt to the recession. Organisations must be delivering services that benefit people or communities affected by the recession.

You can apply for interest-free loans from £30,000 to £500,000. The main part (at least 90%) of every investment will be a loan, but there is also some grant money available. Repayments will be tailored to suit your needs.

For an application form and more information about the fund telephone the Business Development team on 0191 261 5200, email or visit the website
