Hello   Reach Your Potential picture

Derby CVS is now Community Action!
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Support for All day on Tuesday.  We celebrated our change of name with a nice bit of cake and were treated to a splendid speech of support from one of our long-serving Board members, Sue Preedy.

Community Action exists to support the city's vibrant voluntary and community sector.

We do this by:
- encouraging, supporting and developing individuals, groups and organisations involved in charity action;
- promoting new initiatives that tackle social exclusion and economic disadvantage; and
- establishing partnerships between the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Watch this space for more news next week!  If you have news that you'd like to share with the voluntary and community sector in Derby, please let us know.
