New Funding Available!
The Targeted Support Fund has been designed to relieve the pressure on charities during the current recession. It is aimed at medium sized charities delivering services linked to recession fall out e.g. housing and debt advice, relationship breakdowns, employment and training.
Derbyshire Community Foundation will be holding a one hour workshop covering all you need to know about the Targeted Support Fund at Derby CVS on Monday 18 May 2009.

What Do Volunteers Do? The World's Shortest Survey!
Clinks - established to strengthen and develop partnerships between voluntary and community-based organisations and the Prison and Probation Service - want to find out what roles volunteers are undertaking in their sector. This information will feed into Clinks publications to list the range of activities that volunteers undertake and highlight their invaluable work. Looking for Arts Funding?
Arts Council England are offering small grants for the arts. The scheme is for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. Grants are for activities over a set period which engage people in England in the arts, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work. Grants to individuals range from £1,000 up to £30,000, and will pay for activities lasting up to three years. Grants to organisations range from £1,000 up to £100,000, and will pay for activities lasting up to three years.
