The ability to become more effective through improved self-management.
Areas covered by the course include:
- Completing, analysing and summarising a time log.
- Identifying common time wasters and deciding on how to eliminate/reduce them.
- Identifying how to prioritise, schedule and plan work.
- Designing a personal improvement action plan.

| First Aid Full Basic Course |

| What the course offers
- the ability to act safely, promptly and effectively when an emergency occurs at work;
- the ability to administer cardio-pulmonary resuscitation promptly and effectively;
- the ability to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively to a casualty who is unconscious; and
- the ability to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively to a casualty who is wounded, bleeding or suffering from a fracture or other such injury.
At the end of the course candidates will be assessed and First Aid at Work Certificates awarded. HSE Approval 47/98.

| What the course offers
Instruction and training on the procedure for dealing with fire at work.
Delegates who attend will need to bring safety shoes and safety glasses.
Who should attend? Appointed fire leaders or anyone with responsibility for ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the case of a fire at work.

| Persuading Powerful People |

| What the course offers
This course is designed enable delegates to influence powerful people and so maximise the chance of decisions being made on the basis of good technical and business advice.
Who should attend?
- Experienced specialists and professionals who already possess good communication and presentation skills; - In positions where they need to influence very senior people inside or outside Rolls-Royce in situations where they have little perceived power/status; - Most delegates will be at staff level and above; and
- ideally delegates will already have attended the Consultancy skills for Specialists course and Influencing Skills Course.
3-Day course 8:30 am to 4.30 pm Part 1 is 2 days Part 2 is 1 day approximately 3 - 4 weeks later
