Accolades Support Workshops
 
Skills for Care East Midlands are
holding four Accolades support workshops throughout March and April. Come along to find out the benefits of winning an accolade, watch a short DVD on last year's awards ceremony and begin your nomination forms.

Please feel free to drop in between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm, when members of staff will be on hand whilst you complete your forms and provide you with any other information you need.
 
The following workshops are available:

30 March - Skill for Care, Derby Office.
22 April - Skill for Care, Derby Office.

Health and Social Care - a Co-operative Perspective

- Recognise the different roles of the management committee;
- Understand the importance of using the constitution as a working document;

By the end of the course, learners will:
 
- Understand the role of the treasurer;
- Recognise the importance of recording all financial transactions;
- Complete a cash book and petty cash book;
- Reconcile a bank statement; and
- Complete an income and expenses sheet.
