Speed Volunteering Spondon!
We're getting very excited down here in the Volunteer Centre. Why, I hear you all ask? Well, we're holding a Speed Volunteering event at Spondon Village Hall on 8 April 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
One or two of you may remember our Speed Volunteering event from 2007 - Click here for the YouTube link.
Our last event was a great success and we're hopeful that this next event will be just as good. Please promote this event to friends and family. We've got a full quota of groups taking part, it's now just the public we need to focus on so please do all you can!
Contact Simon or Thom for further information. |

Weathering storms
The conference will address the impact of the recession on the Third Sector and examine how organisations can survive and thrive. The Sector needs to network with and influence policy-makers at local, regional and national level. 30 March 2009, 9.30 am to 4.00 pm PERA, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
