Derbyshire Coalition for Inclusive Living offers a FREE peer counselling service which means counselling for disabled people or their family members. The counselling service is for disabled people provided by disabled people. We work across the whole of Derbyshire and Derby City and we also provide accessible transport for £5 per return. Neighbourhoods
Are you involved in your local Neighbourhood? You might belong to a voluntary or community group, sit on your local Neighbourhood Board, or be a worker in your local community. Derby Community Development Alliance is holding an event on Tuesday 24 February to look at how you can be further enabled to have your say in your area. We will look at what the Government has to say, what duty the local authority, Derby City Council has to implement what the Government is saying. We will look at how you can involve your community in making a difference to how things run in your area. This workshop will be presented by Nick Bird for Urban Forum, and will have good discussions around the topic of local people having a say in how their area is run. 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm: lunch included!
