 Five a day to wellbeing!
nef's (New Economics Foundation) centre for well-being has developed a set of five evidence-based actions that, if practised regularly, can improve personal well-being.
In the midst of the credit crunch, growing economic uncertainty and accelerating climate change, the recommended actions, based on extensive research compiled by nef for the Government's Foresight project on Mental Capital and Well-being, show that well-being does not depend on spending money or consuming more.
Click here to find out what they are and how they can help you recruit volunteers. |

Working with a Volunteer-Involving Organisation?
The Red Foundation has launched a ground-breaking online survey looking, in part, at the relationship between second tier organisations and volunteer-involving organsations. This survey is part of the Modernising Volunteering National Support Service which will establish good practice and inform the the resources available to front-line support providers in the future. Your answers will have a genuine impact on work in the future. If you want change - tell us! If you want things to stay the way they are - tell us!
The survey is anonymous and only takes a few minutes to fill in. To see it, please click here or visit the website - www.redfoundation.org - for more information.
