Derby LINk
Health and Care Graphic
After a very successful launch on 8 October, Derby LINk has been asked to find out what the people of Derby think about three areas of health and care:

Mental Health Day Services: get involved in a complete review and re-design of these services across the city.
Maternity Services: help review a new strategy aimed at improving the quality of, and access to, care for women in the city.
Dementia services: a member of the LINk is invited to take part in the feedback session looking at improving commissioning of dementia services.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape the way these services will look.  If you have an interest in any of these services, why not become a member and have your say on their future?

To join, you need to either live or work in Derby.

How green is your workplace?
Groundwork London, in partnership with Every Action Counts, is conducting a follow-up exercise to the national 'green' survey of third sector organizations, carried out in early 2007. This should give a further picture of how the sector is shaping up in addressing its own 'green' agenda.

They're looking for an even better response this time, so please forward details of the survey to other organisations and encourage them to participate. Click here to go to the survey.

Any ideas for Elvaston?
In order to help them to develop and promote beneficial community facilities for Elvaston Castle Country Park and as an alternative to commercial development, The Friends of Elvaston is asking groups which use the Park to inform them as to what kind of amenities they would like to see introduced there. This is an important factor in the campaign to prevent privatisation so your help in this will be valued. Please email your responses to us.
