Derby CVS Community Conference
Derby CVS logo
We will be holding a Community Conference on 13 November, which will also include our AGM.

This is a daytime event, between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm, which we've packed with useful seminars and forums.

The morning will include a talk from the Derbyshire Community Foundation about funding, tips and ideas from CVS Member, Janet Holland of Derwent Stepping Stones, and an inspiring talk from Graham Bennett of Catch the Vision Consultancy.

We will then conduct the important business of our AGM.  We will be in contact soon about nominating someone from your organisation to the CVS Management Board of Trustees.  It is vital that as many CVS Members attend as possible.  This is a real opportunity to feed back what support you need and how we can support you better.

There will then be a tasty lunch, then the following Forums will start:

- Volunteer Co-ordinators.
- Self Help.
- Health and Social Care.
- Leadership.
- Management.

We are holding the conference at the Riverside Centre in Pride Park and look forward to seeing you there.  More information will be sent to you in the next couple of weeks.

It focuses on the equal importance and differences between monitoring and evaluation and provides guidance on how to design a formal evaluation as well as identifying potential problems and how to overcome them.
