Derby LINk Launch 8 October
11.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Darwin Suite in the Assembly Rooms. There will be a high profile speaker, healthy refreshments and interactive stalls aiming to inform (informally!) about health and social care.
Derby LINk is a Local Involvement Network. LINks are networks of local individuals, community groups, voluntary organisations and service providers that have been set up by the Government to give local people a say in how local Health and Social Care services are designed and delivered.

Derby Housing Strategy Stakeholder Consultation Event 16 September 2008 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (with registration from 9.30am). Darwin Suite, Assembly Rooms, Market Place. Derby City Council is in the process of preparing a new Housing Strategy, which will set out our ambitions for the City over the next five years. This Stakeholder event will enable you to contribute to the delivery of Derby's Housing Strategy 2008-2013, which will set the blueprint for housing-led services and provision throughout the City.

It's a chance for you to make a difference in your community by organising a project with friends, family, your workplace or place of worship. Just look around and find something you'd like to change, and CSV will help you do it.
Our team at Volunteer Centre Derby is working in partnership with Derby Counselling and Therapy Centre in doing a garden makeover this year!

Regeneration East Midlands (REM) leads the way in developing skills, improving knowledge, sharing good practice and promoting innovation in all aspects of social and physical regeneration. This programme promotes the wide range of training that will be delivered by REM in Autumn 2008. BIG Community Spaces - England  Community Spaces is a £50 million open grants programme funded through the Big Lottery Fund's Changing Spaces initiative and managed by Groundwork UK on behalf of an experienced national consortium. Small & Medium Grants of between £10,000 - £49,999 are available on a rolling basis until January 2011.
