Ringers,
Ringers Wrestling has had another outstanding Spring. Our wrestlers trained hard and competed well in state, regional, and national meets. This newsletter lists some of the highlights from the past few months and provides links for more detailed coverage. Just click on the blue lettering to go to the links on the Ringers website. Enjoy reading the results, and please submit photos from the meets listed so they can be added to the website. In order to reach these unmatched results, Ringers trains to win 12 months a year. Different Training Schools style, intensity, and duration change to meet the needs of the current season. This is one of the reasons Ringers' wrestlers can win so many top meets. The upcoming Summer Training School is an integral part of the Ringers system. By getting mat time in when others are taking off allows Ringers to keep moving forward. I can't wait to get back on the mat after our 3 week break. I hope to see you there! Coach Jim Schmitz

CHERTOW ANNOUNCES HEADLINE COACHES
|
| NATE CARR, MIKE MENA COMING TO MILWAUKEE
In addition to Ken Chertow, Nate Carr and Mike Mena will be running sessions at the Gold Medal Training Camp System that starts this Saturday. Nate Carr was 3 time NCAA Champ for Iowa State and went on to win an Olympic Bronze in Seoul, Korean. Mike Mena was a 4 time All American for Iowa as well as a 4 time State Champ in Illinois. Ringers that are signed up for this camp will gain from their knowledge and experience.
A limited amount of spots are still available for this camp that begins Saturday morning. I will be working it the whole week and would love to see as many Ringers there as possible so they can benefit from the Chertow System.

RINGERS WINS ILLINOIS CLUBS CUP
|
| RINGERS BEATS TOP CLUBS IN ILLINOIS
Ringers Juniors and Cadets used the time between Freestyle and Greco-Roman states and Northern Plains to take on the nations best wrestling state- Illinois. Ringers won its first dual against Lyons/Lockport without losing a match, then defeated the celebrated Izzy Style club in the semi's, then took Count Dante's Inferno down 41-18 in the finals. Especially encouraging is that all but 1 team member can return next year to defend the Illinois Clubs Cup- now held be a Wisconsin Club! Article, Ringers' lineup, and team picture

KIDS FREESTYLE AND GRECO-ROMAN NATIONALS
|
| BEAU BRESKE AND JORDAN DIERINGER SHINE
Making the long trip to Orem, Utah, Beau and Jordan made it worth the trip. Jordan was chasing a triple crown after winning Folkstyle Nationals in April. He came up short, but took 3rd in Greco and 2nd in Freestyle. Beau was also chasing the triple crown, and became one of only 6 kids in the country to earn it by winning Greco and Freestyle in convincing fashion.
