On a personal note - Thank you to all the women who came to the Women's Christmas Party and supported Beauty for Ashes Ministries by buying Ellen's beautiful jewelry. Thanks to the HOS kids who sang for us, too. I got the recipe for the delicious popcorn served at the brunch. Brandy Bateman says to "pop popcorn on the stove top in oil. Melt white chocolate in a double boiler. Mix popcorn, pretzels, almonds, cranberries, Chex cereal (she used all kinds of Chex) with the chocolate and let dry on wax paper." I was very glad to open my "white elephant gift" and find a pink plastic flamingo complete with outfits for every holiday. Classic. You never want to miss a Women's Ministry event as you never know what is going to happen. God bless you all!
