Bible Bee News - On Thursday, November 17, the Bible Bee held the written and oral portions of the National Bee. One of the kids who tested at COBC has made it to the semi-final round (that is the top 15 contestants in his age group). His name is Phillip Anderson; he is a junior from Palmdale. He attends Grace Chapel in Lancaster. There is another Emily Hamilton attending the Bible Bee and she made it to the semi-final rounds. She is from New Jersey so if anyone watches the Final Challenge Round on the internet you might think it is our Emily but it is not. Emily and Everett both did a great job today but we won't have the scores for a few days. The Final Challenge Round is Saturday and Phillip has a great chance of making it to that round since he does an EXCELLENT job reciting verses word perfect. The two rounds left are single elimination oral recitation only.
Bible Bee "Final Challenge Rounds" will be broadcast live at www.BibleBee.org on Friday, November 18th. Primary Division will be at 7am; Junior Division will be at 11am; Senior Division will be at 1pm. Each division takes approximately one hour. |
