WRONG ASTROLOGY SIGNS

Greetings ,

Thank you for your continued support of our website, and welcome to all of our new subscribers.

Hey everyone, I hope you are all looking forward to the fall, and before you know it, we'll be counting down the days to Christmas!

Quick note from the spiritual counseling sessions: I notice people will get readings on their relationships and readings on themselves. It is not so often people will get readings on their partners.

I have to remind you, improving the quality of any relationship starts with you and your reading. The compatibility readings would be second, but if you wanted to view the world from your partner's point of view, a personal reading can be very insightful.

This month, a fellow member has submitted a newsletter on intuitions. I remind you, anyone is allowed to contribute, otherwise you'll just be getting them from me. =)

How to Harness Your Intuitions

Intuition: since the dawn of man this has been an ability hard-sought for the harnessing. The indescribable feeling when your deepest essence tells you something, and is often correct, is certainly mysterious by many definitions. And the desire to understand and tap into this deeper level of consciousness is very natural, and in fact a valuable skill.

Who wouldn't like to always make the best decision in every situation? This could potentially be of immeasurable help to anyone. You would know where to go when the destination's exact location isn't clear. That little voice would tell you which product is better when making an important purchase. Also knowing when not to go somewhere or get involved with something would be easy with a totally harnessed intuition. Need the examples of benefits continue?

Harnessing your intuition is no doubt a desirable skill. But knowing how to do this first requires properly identifying and understanding your own intuition, versus perceptive thought. This is key.

Intuition by definition is the ability to naturally have immediate apprehension of facts, circumstances, or guiding info. This is totally without aid from any real mental reasoning. Intuition is an immediate insight, born of our own soul and psychic abilities. It is a brief use of our eternal consciousness, a deeper level of awareness not often tapped into by our logic-based brains.

People often say things like "Something told me I should have done that", or "I knew that was the right answer but chose a different one after thinking about it." These are instances of failure to follow intuition. Had these people followed their intuition, or as it is often called, "first instinct", they find that they would have enjoyed a better outcome, having made the right choice.

So in order to take advantage of this gift, one must first recognize it. That first thought or instinct is usually the right one - your intuition speaking to you. Logic and mental reasoning usually flood in immediately after and often contradict that first intuitive thought. Recognizing this is the whole trick to following intuition. And like anything else in life, practice makes perfect. It is important to be clear though - you are not practicing intuitive thought. You are merely practicing recognizing it.

The brain is inter-wired with the soul and life energy. As humans, we are blessed with some very spectacular abilities. But using them often requires surpassing logic and our worldly perceptive processes.

In the case of intuition, differentiating reasoning and perceptive thought from intuitive thought is paramount. As previously described, intuitive offerings appear immediately after a question is posed. This is between the question occurring and the brain's reasoning process starting up. This window between the question and logical thinking is the playground of your intuition.

Another helpful consideration is being aware of your own internal thought processes. If you are thinking about the posed question, you have already passed the intuitive window. Use of intuitive thought is in the immediacy of the moment, usually.

There is an exception though. This is the passive mental state. For example, you find yourself daydreaming about nothing in particular, and suddenly you get a feeling of knowledge or insight into a question that you have been pondering lately. This also happens to some in the middle of the night, waking from a dream with an epiphany on what to do with their real-life question.

This is an additional blessing for several reasons. First, we have another mental state in which intuitive thought is able to shine through to our worldly consciousness and offer guidance. And second, if you had an intuitive moment during a previous situation in which you did not follow it, but did recognize it, you may have a second chance at it coming to you during this passive state.

As for the science of it all; much is to be continued. It is certain that science and faith and the supernatural are coming closer and closer to mutual agreement. For this reason, perhaps one day not too long from now, science will be able to quantitate and put a name and measurement to intuitive thought and deeper planes of consciousness. Today there are fascinating studies taking place which show drastic brain activity changes when these different states of mind and intuitive thought are reached, and this is very exciting and promising.

Regardless of scientific stance, your intuition is yours and yours alone. Tapping into it requires you to know yourself much more than the contents of any book or movie. Just remember, intuitive thought is free of reasoning and factual considerations. It is free, natural, and very, very valuable. It is yours to take advantage of if you are so blessed with having it. Enjoy.
