Why the Universe Doesn't Judge You
This seems to be a subject I seem to be repeating a lot lately in spiritual counseling sessions, so i thought it might make a good newsletter topic. First, we have to review some basic concepts:
- The universe is an environment creator. It is more like a computer program than a soul.
- The universe creates your environment based on the effort and energy you invest.
- Why is hard to win lotto? The environment (or future) you would create for yourself does not match the effort.
- The universe converts every thought, decision, and amount of energy you invest in executing your decisions, to create your future.
- You can only evolve through your relationships.

This comes to be a newsletter topic because of decision making. If you have ever found yourself thinking: "That was a stupid decision," or "Wow, I really did great with that," then you have judged yourself. Here are some more examples:
- "I am a charitable person, and help others whenever I can."
- "I am a great partner, and anyone is lucky to have me."
- "I can find a job because the economy is too tough."
Obviously, there are millions of them and we tend to judge ourselves on a regular basis. But the universe doesn't judge you. It doesn't care what outcome you create for yourself. It only what you tell it to do.
At first glance, this might not seem to be much of an issue, but it is significant if you want to evolve and grow your soul. How often have you found yourself not making a decision because of fear of a potential outcome? And conversely, how often have you rushed into a decision for emotional or intuitive reasons?
This balance, and the experience of judging yourself, can easily lead to not making a decision. A point I will come back to.
Not making decisions means you are not investing energy in the creation of your future environment. There is a temptation for this called sloth. It means do nothing. Temptation only wants to take you from the path of the light. You can't evolve your soul if you do nothing. The universe has no concept of time. Time is a human relationship. So let's say you make a decision, and it doesn't come out exactly the way you wanted. To the universe, all you have done is put yourself in a new environment, and you always have to the ability to create a new one. To the universe, you can't make a mistake, because you can always create a new future. The process of making decisions and creating futures for yourself is evolution. In fact, the first step of evolution is spiritual enlightenment, which means you learn. A soul learns as much from positive environment creations as it does from less than desirable ones. The point is that your evolution is always moving. Unless, of course, you decide to not evolve. So let me get back to my final point. It would be very easy for me to tell myself: "I am a charitable person, and help others whenever I can." But I would never judge myself like that. When you do, you define what "charitable energy" is, and place a value on it. Some days I get 40 requests for spiritual astrology readings, some days I get 120. If I define the value of charitable energy, I could decide that doing 20 of them is good enough for today. After-all, I have a life too. To me, that sounds more like the voice of temptation. I can't say there weren't days I felt like that.Temptation is a power that matches the ability and evolution of your soul. It whispers in my ear just as much as it does in yours. In fact, that motivates me into making decisions, not away from it. So make decisions! Get out there and move forward without fear of any results. That is how you harness the power of the light, and that is path that can only yield positive spiritual evolution. Love and light, Jordan Canon |
