Recipient Outreach Initiative
Dear Helping Hands family,For the past three years, I've had the opportunity to serve as Helping Hands' resident occupational therapist and placement coordinator. I've seen firsthand the special ways our monkey helpers restore independence, hope, and companionship to those dealing with severe mobility challenges. As our wonderful monkey helpers continue to graduate from their intricate service animal training, it is our goal to make as many successful placements as possible. So, this year we are expanding our efforts to reach more individuals struggling with the physical and emotional pain of spinal cord injuries and mobility impairing diseases. Some new developments of our recipient outreach initiative include a new, user friendly, online application (coming soon), and new marketing materials and brochures that will be distributed to hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the country. These efforts are largely made possibly by your continued support and donations. Please join me in the effort to spread the word about Helping Hands' mission so that we can broaden the scope of our recipient program and restore independence and hope to those who truly need it. If you or someone you know should receive our application information please email me and I will be happy to send it out.Warm regards,Jill Siebeking, Occupational Therapist/Placement Specialist jills@monkeyhelpers.org
