FEATURED RESOURCE: COUNSELING FOR MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES
 
Medicare counseling for open enrollment will be offered starting in October on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. free of charge.
 
Counseling will be held at the Disability Empowerment Center located at 5025 E. Washington Street in Phoenix.
 
Brought to you by a partnership with the Benefits Assistance Program of the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, together with Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL).
 
The benefits counselors will assist with all Medicare and Medicaid-related needs and questions, including enrollment assistance and general information.
 
To set an appointment and request any accommodations, call 602-443-0738 or email johnb@abil.org and put Medicare Counseling in the subject line. 
 
Items participants need to bring:  
1. Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance information
2. List of medications

West Campus of Arizona State University. 

 

The goal of the summit is to strengthen the volunteerism and service-learning projects in Arizona.

Held at the Westside Multigenerational Center

Located on the south side of fifth street, a quarter mile west of Mill Ave.

  

Highlights:

  • Free booster seats provided by the Tempe Fire Department
  • Family story time hosted by the Tempe Public Library
  • Complimentary oral health screenings and fluoride varnish for children age 0-5 hosted by Dignity Health
  • Prizes given away every half hour
  • Diapers and formula provided by Tempe Community Action Agency
