Flash Volunteer Event
Coming Together for a Purpose
Flash Volunteer 2012

Twenty dedicated volunteers came out for the first-ever, "Flash Mob Volunteer Event" last Saturday.

According to Wikipedia, a flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression. Flash mobs are organized via telecommunications, social media or viral emails.
In Tempe we wanted to redefine "flashmob" to mean, a sudden assembly of people in a public place, to perform an unusual and
meaningful act for a brief time, then disperse..........
Last Saturday, volunteers came to paint and clean the interiors of the Shared Living homes for Tempe's elderly. We were proud to partner with the
City of Tempe and thank our volunteers for their time and hard work!
