TEAM Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Service

Wednesday, November 23 7:00pm

 

Please join the community for an evening of reflection and gratitude on Thanksgiving Eve at Tempe First United Methodist Church. Hosted by TEAM, an interfaith coalition of Tempe clergy and social service agencies that works together to coordinate and mobilize efforts to provide food and social services through the Tempe faith community.

FREE Tax Preparation  EITC Logo
Services Available January - April 2012

  

Tempe's Financial Stability Initiative, by Tempe Community Council, is pleased to announce free tax preparation for low to moderate income residents January 28-April 14. Volunteers will be onsite to prepare taxes and apply eligible residents for Earned Income Tax Credits on Saturdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm January 28-April 14 (closed March 10 and March 17) and on Wednesday's during the month of February from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Check www.tempe.gov/tcc for a list of requirements and eligibility, or if you are interested in volunteer opportunities.

Seeking Experienced Volunteers
 

We are developing a list of volunteer opportunities to assist staff with our important work.

Currently, we are seeking a volunteer to develop an Employee Handbook incorporating related laws, rules and regulations and the culture and spirit of a nonprofit organization.

 

Any individual considering this growth opportunity must have substantial work experience as a Human Resources professional, be detail orientated, computer literate, and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
