Agency Review Newsletter
Greetings!

Agencies are working diligently at completing their Human Services proposals for Fiscal Year 2010/11, due to Tempe Community Council by Friday, October 30th.  This year we are tracking to have close to 40 agencies apply for City funds.

In addition, we are fast approaching our time to convene for the Volunteer Training / Orientation!  We look forward to meeting you and to our partnership of connecting those in need with those who care.
What are the Next Steps - 2?

Shortly following your training date you will be able to log-into the on-line application system, e-CImpact.  Here, you will be able to view your assigned agency proposals and begin your review.  You will have until Friday, December 11th to read and score the proposals and generate questions in the e-CImpact system.

You will also sign-up for a 1/2 day block in mid-January to conduct agency interviews (from four (4) to five (5) interviews per block).  At the interview you will be on a panel with several other Volunteers who have read the proposals that you read, and scored.

Prior to the beginning of the 1/2 hour interview TCC Staff will hold a quick orientation, and the panel will choose a moderator (MORE).  During the interview you will take turns reading questions which were created by you and your panel.  At the end of the interview block each panel will deliberate and come to a funding consensus for each proposal.

At the Final Meeting in February the AR Co-Chairs and moderators will review each panel's funding recommendation and come to a final funding consensus to present to City Council.
