A letter from our Founder and CEO

Hello Friends,

Days after our "Imagine" fundraising luncheon, all of us at Angels are still basking in the glow of the amazing event we all shared!  We had a record number of guests, well over 500, and the energy in the room was simply electric!

We want to thank all of our wonderful sponsors and donors who allow Angels to provide our unique and life-changing healing to so many babies who need us desperately.  We thank our foster parents, many of whom were able to attend this year and share in the event with our larger Angels family. We thank our staff and Board for their tireless efforts to put on such an amazing day, the attention to detail made the day perfect for all!  We thank Jeff from the "Jeff and Jer Showgram" for being our emcee and our very own Bill Cosby, our wonderful speaker, Jetaine Hart, and the Sheraton for their great staff and professional management.

Most of all, we thank our Angels children for selling raffle tickets (over $4,000 raised from the raffle alone) and appearing on stage! Having our children participate each year is what sets Angels events apart from all the rest.  Our Angels are here to remind us how we must all get involved and do something to make a difference to these precious children who, through no fault of their own, have faced obstacles no baby should have to.

For those who were unable to attend this year's event, we hope to see you next year and encourage you to imagine a better life for our babies and give what you can in whatever way you can. For all who attended, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to share the Angels mission with you and your friends.

We wish you all the best, thank you as always for your support, and look forward to finding loving homes for many more babies as this successful year comes to a close.

Dear Dr. Mama,

I am so so so embarrassed to even talk about this! Yesterday, I was out in the vegetable garden with our 14-month-old. As I was weeding, I glanced over to watch her pick up a piece of dog poo that I'd missed in my clean-up. Before I could leap to her, she leaned over and ... took a bite. OMG!!!!!!!!!

I almost died! I grabbed her, ran inside and washed out her mouth thoroughly as I dry-heaved. Then I called poison control (they were unimpressed), but what else could I have done?! Is it dangerous? Will she ever do this again? I'm beside myself ... and can't admit it to anyone. What's wrong with this child??

Did You Know?

The seven Angels who appeared on stage at our Imagine Luncheon represent a small portion of the babies rescued by our incredible Angels families.
237 boys             237 girls
328 infants       146 toddlers
These kiddos have been fortunate enough to receive the love and care they deserve. Sadly, many more are caught in the revolving door of traditional foster care and have not been so lucky.

Thank you Troop 8399

What a wonderful surprise! Girls Scout Troop 8399 in San Diego ran a great clothing, diaper and formula drive for our Angels. These young teens even went the extra mile and held a garage sale to raise money for a baby shopping spree. Thank You Troop 8399 for restocking our baby closet!!

Thumbs Up Baby

Angels is very grateful for the donations we receive every month. Without the generosity of our friends we wouldn't be able to save innocent babies and toddlers in need. We would like to thank our September donors! Click here to see all our generous donors from September!
