Ask Dr. Mama |
 Dr. Mama is better known as Rachel Zahn, MD, a pediatrician and local mom of three kids, ages 20, 18, and 14. All three were born during her medical training, earning her the title. Rachel is also a very active Angels Board member.

Dear Dr. Mama,
I have a 9 1/2 month old girl who is having a hard time sleeping BY HERSELF. We are guilty of picking her up in the middle of the night and taking her to our bed when she cries out. But now that has turned into an almost every night routine. We're rocking her to sleep or she will fall asleep on her last bottle. Last night, we put her down about 7:00 and she was up crying 30 minutes later. The end result was Chloe sleeping in the bed with us. What should we do? Cry it out method? We have tried patting her on her back but that just seems to make her more upset. Now that she can stand up it's even worst. Help!!

Carrie and Ian were a young couple who, like many, came across the Angels website in their exploration of fostering and adoption resources. They were searching their hearts and trying to find the best avenue to satisfy their strong desire to be parents. | 2009 Luncheon a Success |
 The 2009 luncheon was such a success with our largest turn out ever at almost 400 guests! Thank you to all the volunteers, Angels Board Members and staff for all your hard work.
Thank you to the foster parents and children that participated in the fashion show. I think I speak for everyone when I say how much we enjoyed watching every single one of your smiling faces on the stage!
Thank you to Jeff (Jeff and Jer radio personality) for being our fabulous emcee again this year. We are happy you and your wife are part of the Angels family!
