 Dear Angels Friend, We are so very grateful for your support over the last year. In 2008, Angels placed another record number of babies and continues to look forward to saving more babies in San Diego County. Our work is so very critical to the success of these vulnerable babies, but it is your interest in our cause and ongoing support that allows us to do this incredible work. As a new year begins to unfold, we are preparing for a monumental year - our 10 year anniversary! The first baby ever placed is now nine years old and 288 children have been placed into a loving Angels home. 65 children found their "forever" home by becoming adopted by an Angels family with 32 more children being adopted into a County home. From the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of our staff, board members and most importantly, our babies, we are so very grateful to you and wish you a very Happy New Year! Monica A. Since Angels was founded in 1999, we have rescued 288 babies from abuse and neglect.
We are excited to say that we reached our goal of placing 60 babies in 2008!
Our goal for 2009 is to place 65 babies in loving homes. So far this year we have rescued 4 babies. | |

Dear Dr. Mommy,
Our little angel just turned 2 and has been with us since she was 6 months old. This will be our second full winter together and I'm starting to feel really frustrated! Our problem is ear infections ... lots of them. It started last winter when she got a cold and runny nose that quickly turned into a fever with lots of crying and pain. Our pediatrician looked into her ears and sure enough, they were red and swollen. We started her on an antibiotic (can't recall which), followed by another and another. After all was said and done, our poor little one spent most of the winter on medicine. By spring she started to get better and by summer we pretty much decided the problem was solved. Fast-forward to December and her first winter cold. A week later, fever and crying. At least she's old enough now to tell us her ear hurts! Are we doing something wrong? Help, Dr. Mommy ... we don't want to go through another winter like last year. What can we do?

| Annual Angels Holiday Party |
Every year, Angels organizes a Christmas party for our foster parents, children and foster children. It is a tradition that keeps growing every year as Angels continues to grow. Santa Clause is always excited to attend this special event
and he looks forward to passing out presents to each child.
This year was our best party yet thanks to all of the volunteers. Angels is very, very grateful for all the elves that decorated, helped at the event and donated all the exceptional gifts!

| Black and White Ball Fund Raiser |
| The Association of Corporate Council's Black and White Ball is the premier social event for the legal community in San Diego and this year they selected Angels to receive all the proceeds from the silent and live auction. This is a big opportunity for Angles!
What can you do to help? We need auction items! Your donation will provide exposure to over 700 people and most importantly raise money for Angels. The event is in March so we need the auction items by the middle of February.
