A Note on 2012 Per Capita: As churches prepare their 2012 budgets, the Presbytery office has received a number of calls regarding Per Capita for next year. While General Assembly and the Synod of Lakes and Prairies have already set their per capita, the PTCA has not. The Presbytery Budget Taskforce is hard at work setting the budget for the coming year and the Presbytery Per Capita should be known at the November 8 Presbytery meeting. We apologize for the inconveneince.
Leaving a Legacy: When artist Lindy Westgard heard about the need to replace the roof at Macalester-Plymouth United Church in St. Paul. She decided to do what she could to help raise money by donating 40 of her paintings to the church. Mac-Plymouth will look into selling the paintings to raise the needed funds. You can find out more in this Minneapolis Star-Tribune article.
Heeding the Call: Edgcumbe Presbyterian in St. Paul was featured by Presbyterian News Service for the Bike Rack ministry. Read the story.
Don't Forget to File a Report! It's the end of the year, which means it's time to fill out congregational reports.
