Greetings!
This is Craig Sutton and I am excited to introduce the FishingNosara.com September 2010 fishing report. We have been lighting it up during the end of August and beginning of September.
This supports my theory that during this time of year our fishing is world class. While we didn't have many trips as usual this month, those that fished scored big!

Captain Eduardo did his usual super job filling the fish boxes on the big girl Sportsman and the legendary Nice n' Tight. As of this report Eduardo has both boats in the water and ready for late season action.
Captain Vibert on the Cabo finished the season on a high note with some great trips and happy clients. Presently, Captain Vibert and first mate Vibert Jr. are getting the fish-catching Cabo refitted and ready to go back to battle in November.
Captain William and the boys pulled the Wanderer on September 18th after her first year of service. Her scorecard shows over 35 Marlin releases, tons of Sailfish, plus many of the big red Buicks called Cuberra Snapper. The crew of the Wanderer has perfected a new technique to land these giant fish; learn more at the Fishing Tactics page of our website.
Great job and congrats to William and the crew! They are doing the necessary maintenance to ensure that next year on the Wanderer is even better than the first.
Our new Super Panga Explorer will be delivered to Guiones Beach by September 30th and hopefully we will complete the rigging and have her ready for battle. November already has several dates booked so if you are thinking of coming down hurry up and call so we can get you booked.
Keep in mind...November is unbelievable here! Just check out the Fishing Report Archive on our web site. Last year we had a day on the Wanderer with five serious Marlin raised and hooked one over 700lbs. for a few minutes before breaking off. Then we scored a nice 300lbs. Black Marlin late in the day.

As the most seasoned member of the FishingNosara team, Captain Vibert brings a lifetime of knowledge to the water every time he goes fishing. Captain Vibert and First Mate Vibert Jr. are currently refitting and upgrading the Cabo for another fabulous season on the water.
Captain Vibert just finished one of his busiest seasons yet and has developed a reputation as a man who can find just about any creature in the ocean for his clients. Marlins? Check. Sailfish? Check. Dolphins, Turtles, Whales, Rooster Fish, Snappers, Groupers, and Snook? Captain Vibert has delivered them all for his clients this season.
Karen Peterson and her friends booked the Cabo in August for a three-hour trip to the reefs. They had a great time and caught a beefy jack and a pair of bonitas. They also saw tons of dolphins and a few whales. A great trip all around!

Most recently Captain Vibert was joined by Cayleah Matthews and her friend for a pleasant afternoon on the water. The weather was perfect, the clients had an absolute blast and rods stayed bent on schools of nice-sized Tuna. A perfect day!

Captain Vibert is itching to get back on the water and is currently filling his schedule for the super-fishy month of November. Don't delay, book today!

Captain William and Mates David and Alex on the Wanderer have done a flat-out incredible job this year.
It's hard to believe that just 12 months ago we were tightening the last few bolts on the big blue beauty and now she is the class of Costa Rica. Enough cannot be said about how awesome this crew is and we are all incredibly excited about another year of great trips!
Craig Sutton decided to close the season with a bang in late August 2010. After a long week of fishing and adventuring with the crew of Inside Sportfishing, Craig and the boys decided to unwind by doing a little Marlin hunting.
Hunt they did! In the early afternoon this Striped Marlin came tearing through the spread like a rocket ship. Craig set the circle hook masterfully and the fight was on!

With a meter-long razor-sharp spear and a top speed over 60 knots, these fish are known for their aggressive fighting tactics and bulldog strength. This particular Marlin had the attitude of a bareknuckle street-fighter, but Craig stayed vigilant on the reel and Alex was right there to safely bill and release this massive marine monster.

Of course the greatest victory for FishingNosara crews is the safe release of all billfish. As with dozens of other Marlins and Sailfish caught by the Wanderer this season, this brutal behemoth was safely released back into the blue water.

It's hard to believe that it has been a year already since completing the Wanderer. This boat represent a classic story of a few dudes getting themselves WAAAAYYYY in over their heads, but persevering to succeed beyond even their own imaginations. To learn the whole story, please take a moment and read The Wanderer Story.
