This is Craig Sutton with FishingNosara.com and NosaraParadiseRentals.com, and here is the latest report. The fishing has been fantastic with all of our anglers getting their "fishing-fix". We had lots of BIG Dorado, Yellow-Fin Tuna, and some nice Wahoo caught. Joan V. had a Bait and Switch Grand Slam on the 12th with a Sail, Blue Marlin, and a BIG boy a 500 lb. Black Marlin. It looks like the Marlin are starting to show up in pairs and it should keep getting better. I am down here now and can't wait to find a few Black Marlin. There is nothing like the Black Marlin "Kamakazee" strike!
In April, we have scheduled Kevin F. from The Outdoor Show to come do a series on our stretch of reef. We're looking forward to showing Kevin and his crew some top notch action to light up their audience. The Billfish should keep getting better and better, so if you want to book, let's do it now. May is usually is the peak for Billfish and we still have dates open. Also, we have all-new snorkeling gear with masks, fins, and snorkels in all sizes (even children). Captain Carlos Barrantes
Captain Carlos took Becky R. on December 15th for a half-day and caught a 35 lbs. Wahoo, three Bonitas, and four Dorado ranging from 30 to 45 lbs. On the 18th, Scott K. had a two hour trip and was able to grab three Bonita, one Needle Fish, and one Dorado, plus they saw six whales. On the 24th and the 30th, Mike Y. did a half-day and one full day. He was able to hook two Dorado and two Bonita.
Closing out 2008, Marcelle P. went out for Sunset fishing on December 31st and caught two Bonita. Earlier that day Tyler F. went out for two hours and caught a 12 lbs. White Tuna and six Bonita and they saw two whales. On January 11th, Mike P., Irene, and Manuel went out for a half-day and caught two Bonita an saw one whale eight meters long and four small Whales. Then on the 12th, Mike P. did a full day and snagged one Dorado at 35 lbs. and a 300 lb. Marlin! He went out again on the 13th for a half-day and caught one Rooster fish at 30 lbs. and four Rooster fish hooked. On the 14th he caught one 45 lb. Wahoo on a 3/4 of a day. On the 18th Mike Y. went out for a half-day and managed to catch eight Bonita, one Yellow-Fin, and a 30 lbs. Dorado. Needless to say, Captain Carlos is on a roll!

Captain Eduardo
 Captain Eduardo, on December 15th took Ernest A. fishing for a half-day, he was able to snag four Bonita, one Yellow-Fin Tuna at 12 lbs., and two Dorado. On the 17th, for a full day Jay L. caught two Dorado at 20 lbs. and six Bonita. Carl T. went out for two hours on the 17th and managed to hook one Dorado at 40 lbs. Todd F. went fishing on the 21st and snagged four Bonita on a half-day. Michelle M. went on a two hour Nature Tour on the 26th, she saw twenty-five Dolphins, three turtles, and one Mantarray. Then on the 30th, Luke W. did a full day and hooked a MASSIVE 300 lb. Sailfish. Jonathan and Mike went out on January 10th, they caught three Yellow-Fin Tuna, one Jack at 20 lbs., one Bonita, and a Needle Fish. Dan H., on the 13th did a Sunset Fishing trip and reeled in one Jack at 15 lbs. and one Dorado. Mike Y. went out on another half-day and snagged two Yellow-Fin Tuna at 12 lbs. and one Grouper at 45 lbs.

Captain Vibert
Captain Vibert is back in the water and took Brent W. out for a Sunset Tour on New Year's Eve. They caught a whopping twelve Bonita! New year's Day Captain Vibert, took Benjamin V. on a half-day charter, catching one Yellow-Fin Tuna at 12 lbs. and two Bonita. On the 15th Nathan V.'s half-day charter hooked up four Bonita, one Yellow-Fin Tuna, and a 15lbs. Jack.
