Presented by Dr. Sandra Weintraub, professor of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Clinical Core Director of Northwestern's Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center (CNADC).

Come learn how your choices can help put you on a positive trajectory to achieve improved brain function. Dr. Weintraub will discuss the changes in brain function throughout one's life, especially as potentially affected by specific behaviors, activities, diet, and other factors, including aging.

Membership Committee Looking for SOAR members interested in participating on the new, energized Membership committee whose purpose is to increase and enhance SOAR membership through broad-based recruiting initiatives. Opportunities include: - Membership Benefits - This sub-committee will develop a plan for gathering and managing discounts and special promotions for SOAR members including designing a SOAR membership card program.
- 2012-13 Membership Campaign - This sub-committee will develop and execute a robust membership drive that will grow both individual and business members.

There are many ways to become active and engaged in SOAR's efforts in Streeterville. Volunteers can contribute through one-time efforts, work on special events or projects, assist in the office, or participate on an ongoing basis with SOAR's task forces and committees.
