| StreeterFest™ is this Weekend at Lake Shore Park | |
StreeterFest™ is this weekend, August 27 and 28, with even more to offer than before! StreeterFest™ now features an expanded menu with neighborhood favorites like Lizzie McNeil's, Timothy O'Toole's and Pizano's Pizza (proudly owned by longtime Streeterville resident Rudy Malnati) StreeterFest™ will be cooking up something sure to please hungry fest-goers.
Headlining the music stage on Saturday is Beatles tribute band American English. Headlining on Sunday is Dave Matthews tribute band the Trippin' Billies. Other StreeterFest™ stage acts include Chicago jazz-funksters Liquid Soul, pop/rockers South of 80 and winner of the StreeterFest™ Facebook Battle of the Bands Contest, Don't Speak: A No Doubt Tribute. StreeterFest™ will feature many local artists with one-of-a-kind arts and crafts. From the tried and true to the zany and unique, the artisans at the fest promise something for every taste! StreeterFest™ will have an expanded Children's Play Area, now featuring a giant inflatable Jumping Jack room on Sunday, along with supervised games and activities throughout the weekend, organized by the Chicago Park District's Summer Day Camp program, and the good folks at the Ronald McDonald House. Community Meeting for Two Streeterville Planned Developments

Get Involved!
There are many ways to become active and engaged in SOAR's efforts in Streeterville. Volunteers can contribute through one-time efforts, work on special events or projects, assist in the office, or participate on an ongoing basis with SOAR's task forces and committees. Streeterville residents 18 years or older are invited and encouraged to get involved. For specific volunteer opportunities, please visit SOAR's website.
