GAA Congress Backdrop
Conference Backdrops and Stage Branding are some of our favourite projects here at Applied Signs & Display, so we were thrilled to be asked to provide the graphic backdrop for such a prestigious and high-profile event as the 2008 GAA Congress, which took place last weekend in Rosse's Point, Sligo. The stand we provided was a 14m wide flat Nomadic pop up stand, with full graphic wrap which allowed for a striking large-scale graphic, and was complemented by branding for the table front and podium, uplighting and ceremonial flags and flagpoles. The beauty of this equipment is its reusability - the GAA will be reusing this hardware in a similar shape or in different guises for years to come. They also availed of set up and training in the correct use of this equipment so that they will be able to maintain and reuse the stands with a great deal of convenience. This was an especially exciting event as the GAA had recently anounced a new focus where marketing and branding is concerned. |
Custom Build Stand for Hire
 The Versatility Kit display stand has proved popular with clients such as Kingspan, who have a packed timetable of exhibitions and want the ultimate professional display which can be tweaked and tailored depending on the size of the venue etc. Now this stand is available to hire! This is big news for clients used to traditional custom build which is cumbersome to transport and requires carpenters to erect. This is also great news for customers who could not afford to purchase such an inpressive stand. This stand is made of aluminium and wood laminate panels and can be fully branded with graphic and mesh fabric panels, and accessorised with lightboxes, stools, lighting and plasma screens. It is available in 6m x 9m, 6m x 6m, and 6m x 3m sizes. In its larger incarnations it features a 5.5m high tower with canopy and a lockable room. The Versatility Kit has already been snapped up for the Biomedica Show in the RDS, and is sure to prove popular for large scale shows throughout the year. Nomadic Display & American
Idol on Fox News
For several years now Nomadic Display's Pop Up Stands have been used as backdrops for American Idol, X-Factor in the UK and Britain's Got Talent. These stands are perfect because they allow the production team to move
them from venue to venue during the audition stage of the show, yet
they have a fine digitally printed graphic and strong enough visual
presence to be used as set backdrops during the studio portions of the
show. But don't take my word for it! Nomadic Display president Pat

The above vehicles show that sometimes the simplest of graphics can be hugely effective.
This vehicle has a nice 'happy medium' of a graphic applied, catching the eye and portraying a professional brand image without the expense of designing and applying a full graphic wrap.
However you can't beat the sheer 'wow' factor of a custom-designed, full vehicle wrap, as the Usher Insulation vehicle above illustrates.
