EAB Flight and Non-flight Periods
eab emerging from treeWhile the official flight period of the emerald ash borer (EAB) ends on September 1, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) would like to remind tree care professionals and those working with ash trees that the potential exists for EAB emergence after this date. Steps should be taken to limit the movement of ash wood from known infested areas. Please visit MDA's Best Management Practices for guidance.

Transportation of any ash material in any form out of a quarantine is still prohibited after this date unless done so under a Compliance Agreement.

-Field days are 100% outdoors and they are held rain or shine.
-Field days will be held the following last four Thursdays in September (September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th)
