If we successfully raise $6000 in contributions this week, it will be matched for $12,000!! We'll put the funds to immediate use for animals in need. We'll provide urgently needed veterinary care, repair our aging transport vehicle, purchase medical supplies and make needed animal housing improvements at our sanctuary.

Louisiana has the second highest poverty rate in the nation, second only to Mississippi. Wherever people experience economic hardships, animals suffer badly. Our workers and volunteers see the evidence of this harsh reality every day, in skeletal bodies of starving horses, in the fearful eyes of puppies and kittens dumped in the woods, in the hopelessness of abandoned pets rummaging through
