summer, eBay
Giving Works
(eBay's dedicated program for charity listings), will be shining a
Spotlight
on Helping Animals.
The
campaign will raise money and awareness for organizations
protecting our furry friends, including the Humane Society of
Louisiana.
During Spotlight on Helping Animals and all year long, you can also use eBay
Giving Works as an easy, effective way to show your support for our charity! The next time you're buying or selling
on eBay,
please remember us!
Haven't
sold
on ebay before? Why not give it a try? Almost everyone could
use some extra cash in this tough economy. You can unclutter your
house, turn unwanted items into income, and raise funds for Louisiana's
abused, neglected and
homeless animals, all at the same time.
How
it Works:
Once you've set up your ebay account, you can use eBay
Giving Works
to list items on eBay
and donate 10% to 100% of your listing's final sale price to the
Humane Society of Louisiana.

listing will benefit from several unique program features that have
been proven to attract more buyers and raise awareness of our cause,
such as the eBay
Giving Works
ribbon and enhanced searchability. Plus, your listings will
automatically qualify for the eBay
Giving Works Fee Credit. You'll also receive a tax-receipt
for your donation.
THE
NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO LIST AN ITEM:
* 1. Visit our "About My Nonprofit" page on eBay Giving Works.
* 2. Select the Sell tab and click on "Sell Now" and begin to list your item.
* 3. On the "Sell Your Item" page, under "Choose how you like to sell your item," our
organization's name should automatically appear.
* 4. Select the percentage (10-100%) you wish to donate to us. (Please note: There is a $5
minimum donation if your item sells.) Then let the bidding begin!
* 5. When your listing sells, it will automatically qualify for the eBay Giving Works Fee Credit!
As always, every donation is tax deductible and you will get a tax-receipt from the
"Donation Account" area in My eBay.
