Yesterday, we sent out an appeal to you--our members, supporters and friends. We asked you to contribute urgently needed funds, to help us get through the difficult summer months ahead and to help us better prepare for hurricane season. From the escalating costs of gas, to our recent need to purchase additional supplies and equipment, our budget has already been stretched to the absolute limit in recent weeks.
We're very excited to report, however, that one anonymous donor responded to our recent appeal by pledging to donate up to a total of $5,000.00 in matching funds to the Humane Society of Louisiana for donations received online or mailed by midnight on June 9th!!
$2,550.00 has already been donated in response to our most recent online appeal, and all of those gifts will qualify towards our $5000 goal. So, thanks to you who've already stepped forward to help; you can consider your donation doubled!
