 I started what we anticipated to be a three-week jury trial in Miami on behalf of a Peruvian man who developed a gangrenous infection of his penis after an elective penile implant surgery. Ultimately the man's penis had to be amputated. The defendant was a local anesthesiologist who participated in the surgery. The surgeon and hospital resolved the claim before trial. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, our clients were deported back to Peru and testified via SKYPE. Read More Here.

Suicide of Junior Seau and Brain Injuries
  We are all are saddened to learn of the suicide of legendary linebacker Junior Seau. The act of intentionally taking one's own life usually occurs when people suffer from a mental or emotional condition such as bipolar disorder, depression, alcohol or drug dependency, or other stresses in life that seem inescapable.
Certain risk factors have been identified, and should be considered if you are concerned about a loved one. Such factors include access to guns, history of family members who have committed suicide, and unemployment or financial problems. Read more here |
SARA ROSE, KID LAWYER
My daughter, Sara Rose, was the inspiration for my first children's book. The story tells the tale of an argumentative fourth grader who wants to be a lawyer. I wrote the book to inspire kids to become lawyers while educating them about famous lawyers in history and how one becomes a lawyer.
