News from our Client Care Specialist and In House Jewish Mother
--
In loving memory of Mike Lenetto
Mike managed Costco, North Miami Beach with a strong hand. Costco employees were a family and he allowed us, the customers, to be a part of that family.

Mike was a true and honest gentleman he will be missed by all of us. He always fixed what needed to be fixed, it was just done.

When my husband, Harold, passed away, he put farewell cakes in the breakroom, so that all crew members could say good-bye to someone who loved them dearly.

Little things mean a lot...but there was nothing little about Mike. He was larger than life.

depuhl deskIt has been a challenging year for us all.  As I prepare for this busy and joyous holiday season, I reflect on the cherished and important things in my life.

When I think about those things that are meaningful, that enrich my life and that are impossible to live without, they would have to be my family and the magnificent people I get to work with every day.

I am so very blessed to have the support of so many people.  Please remember that the real gift in the holiday season is that of family and friendship.

I have spent my professional life trying to help those who have experienced great loss or feel helpless. I have represented those who experience loneliness and live in darkness.  As a trial lawyer, I have tried to change the lives of many for the better.  Sometimes I have succeeded; many times I have failed.

A simple act of kindness from you can make a difference for many.

I wish with all my heart that you and your family have a safe holiday and a brave New Year.
Ten Tips for Surviving the Holidays

1. Keep Christmas trees well watered.  A dry and neglected tree is a fire waiting to happen.

 2. Do not buy any children's toys that contain lead, cadium, mercury, bromine, chlorine or arsenic.  Check the Consumer Product Safety Commission for latest recalls.

3. Poinsettias can be poisonous to both humans and animals.  Keep them well out of reach or avoid them entirely.

4. Before decorating the outside of your house, make sure the lights are approved for outdoors.

5. Always have a designated driver if you are hosting or attending a holiday party where alcohol is served.

6. If traveling, ask a trusted neighbor to keep an eye on your home.

7. Do not set off your own fireworks or firearms. Leave it to the pros.

8. Avoid using ladders to decorate a tree or your house as more injuries from falls occur from ladders during the holidays than during the entire year.

9. Prepare food properly by following USDA guidelines.

10. When shopping do not overload yourself with packages.  Keep your line of vision clear and beware of strangers in parking lots.
