There is so much to give thanks for. While Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, I would like to express my gratitude to you for your confidence and support. Let me also acknowledge the tireless efforts of my team, who without their help, I could not be the lawyer, husband, father and son that I try to be.
Lennon Kraus and Bruce Shemrock have both honored me by practicing law for our firm and on behalf of our clients for over a year. Their zealous commitment to justice inspires me to want to be the best lawyer I can be. I am grateful to have the support team of Carol, Patricia, Sara, Lisa, Mayra and Manny who do their best to keep up with me. And of course, my mother Candace Grossman, our Client Care Specialist, who has become the firm's in house Jewish Mother.
I am especially grateful for my darling family who somehow puts up with my long hours and days on the road. Thank you all. I am humbled by your love.
I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and have a wonderful and grateful Thanksgiving.

Knowing the Warning Signs of a Stroke can Save Your Life
Every second counts:
1. Sudden numbness in the face.
2. Sudden trouble speaking or understanding.
3. Sudden trouble seeing out of both eyes.
4. Sudden trouble walking or loss of balance.
5. Sudden severe headaches.
If you are overcome with these signs you may be having a stroke. Studies show that if a drug called tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) is given within three hours long term damage can be reduced.
Trans ischemic attacks or TIAs are mini strokes that produce symptoms but do not have lasting damage. If the symptoms persist and go untreated, they can develop into a major stroke that can cause permanent brain damage.
We are currently representing a man who was denied the opportunity to have TPA by an inadequately trained emergency room triage nurse and has been left permanently disabled. I am committed to make sure this never happens to anyone else. For additional information please contact the American Stroke Association. |
Aronfeld Team Accomplishments

Spencer Aronfeld along with E. Lennon Kraus, resolved a complex medical malpractice case that involved an orthopaedic surgeon and Good Samaritan Hospital on behalf of a Palm Beach Florida man and his family for alleged complications that occurred following a total knee replacement surgery. The trial in the matter was scheduled to begin in November, 2009.
Lennon Kraus also lead the way in resolving a trip and fall case on behalf of a Miami woman who fell and broke her hip at Versailles Restaurant last December. The case was set for trial starting November 2, 2009 in front of Judge Maxine Lando-Cohen.
Bruce E. Shemrock, resolved a car accident case for $96,000.00 for a Miami man who was injured in August 2008 when a car failed to yield the right of way. | |
