HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM ARONFELD TRIAL LAWYERS
This year, we are committed to making it a safe Halloween for all of our friends and clients. Please take a minute to review these easy steps to make sure your ghouls and goblins come home safe.
Here are ten suggestions to consider:
1. Make your home safe for visitors by clearing driveway of debris and potholes, providing adequate light. Do not allow anyone in you do not know.
2. Supervise children 12 or younger. Your usually safe neighborhood may become a target for undesirables.
3. Check your child's costume. Make sure there is no restrictions for breathing or vision. Pin your child's name and your phone number on his costume in case he gets lost in a sea of Sponge Bobs.
4. Forget the knives, swords and other accessories that might harm your child or someone else.
5. Make sure they understand that they are to never enter anyone's home they do not know.
6. Plan the route in advance-have an agreement and understanding of where your are going to go.
7. Carry a flashlight-fresh batteries that can go the distance for each child.
8. No snacking until we get home-Carefully inspect all food, in the bright light of your kitchen before allowing any one to start snacking.
9. Malls and parties are a safer bet-Look for events in your neighborhood that will keep your kids off the streets.
10. Remember, times have changed. I am a parent and I want my kids to enjoy Halloween like I did. But the world is a different and more dangerous place.
