In Memoriam, Marvin Mandelbaum
 INFORMS regrets to inform members that Prof. Marvin Mandelbaum, 68, of York University in Ontario, Canada, passed away on September 8. Working with colleagues, he developed the concept of split and match queues and the concept of flexibility of manufacturing systems. His work also extended the concepts of flexibility from manufacturing systems to queueing systems. More about Prof. Mandelbaum is here.
