Registration Desk Hours

Registration is located in the Convention Center in the Hall H foyer. Hours are Saturday, 4-7pm, and Sunday-Wednesday, 7am-5pm. Because you have preregistered, you can simply pick up your badge and materials at the Advance Registration counter. You will need your badge for attendance at all meeting events.

Print-Ready Program Online
Many registrants have selected to go green and not receive a printed program at the meeting. To print out the needed sections of the program before arriving in San Diego, go here. You will find PDF files for all four days of the meeting, the Master Track Schedule, maps, listings of special events and community business meetings, and more.

Search the Program - Build Your Itinerary
The database of 3,900 presentations is available here (click on Search the Program); search by key word, author, cluster, and session, and you can create your itinerary at the same time.

Speaking? Bring Your Laptop for LCD, Reserve Overhead in Advance
LCD (computer) projectors will be available in every technical session room. If you plan to use an LCD, you must bring your laptop (or share with another presenter) and AC power adaptor. Technical assistance will be available for any AV problems. Overhead projectors must be reserved in advance, no later than  this Friday, October 9. Send your ame and day/time of your presentation to stephanie.paul@informs.org.

Free Internet Access In Exhibit Hall
Free wireless Internet and an email center will be located in the Exhibit Hall (Hall H, Convention Center). Name badges must be worn for admittance. Email access will be available Sunday, 12-5pm; Monday & Tuesday, 9am-5pm; Wednesday, 9am-3pm. Please note: there is no complimentary wireless available at the Hilton.

Badge Required for Technical Sessions
Your San Diego 2009 registration badge must be worn to all meeting events. All attendees, including speakers and session chairs, must register and pay the registration fee. Lost badges can be replaced at the Registration Desk ($5 fee).

New Member Breakfast
If you registered as a non-member or if you are a first-year INFORMS member, you qualify to attend the new member breakfast on Sunday, October 11, 7-8am in Hilton Indigo G, 2nd floor. The breakfast is by invitation only. New members will receive a ticket with their registration materials on-site. Attend to learn about INFORMS and meet new colleagues.

Chapters Meet and Greet
It's a large meeting and a large society. Cut it down to size by attending the chapters meet and greet on Sunday, October 11, 7:30-9pm during the welcome reception in the Convention Center, Exhibit Hall H. Get there early - a limited number of free drink tickets will be available.

Attend the Welcome Reception first and then take the escalator upstairs for the Awards Ceremony. Please note that the reception is part of the ceremony event and is open to the awardees, their friends and colleagues, and all those who attend the Awards Ceremony itself. We are sorry that we cannot accommodate guests to the reception who do not also attend the ceremony.

Minority Issues Forum Reception

General Reception on Tuesday Evening
SeaWorld San Diego will host this year's General Reception, with some of the major exhibits open to our attendees. The General Reception takes place on Tuesday, 7:30-9:30pm (buses begin departing from the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, Marriott San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and Hotel Solamar, and the Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown at 6:30pm). Information on bus transportation and event details will be in your printed program and the Quick Reference brochure.
