In Memoriam, Joseph Balintfy
INFORMS regrets to announce the death of Joseph Balintfy, who taught O.R. at Tulane University and management science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prof. Balintfy was an Edelman Laureate for his work on the Deree-Pierce College entry, A Mathematical Programming System for Food Management Applications.
