The STC Toronto chapter is presenting a series of DITA webinars over the next couple of months and has extended an invitation to members and colleagues of STC Chicago.
Quark and Adobe topics are scheduled for February 22, followed by XMetal in March, and Oxygen in April.
According to STC Toronto President, Anna Parker-Richards:
Our webinar series is a bit of a twist on the typical DITA presentation in that we're encouraging the vendors to show their wares rather than focus on the fundamentals of structured authoring and DITA elements. The agenda is simple: Bernard Ashwanden does a 20-minute DITA overview, the vendor does a product demonstration for 45 minutes, and we follow up with audience Q & A.
