STC Chicago Awards Banquet Recap

Winners in our 38th Annual Technical Publications, Art, and Online Communication Competition were honored at the STC Chicago Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Based on feedback received from attendees, we can say that the evening was a smashing success. A good time was had by all. A big thanks to MaryKay Grueneberg and Elizabeth Burke, co-managers of this year's competition. A special thanks to Andi Dunn who oversaw venue accommodations and provided technical support. Also, many thanks to STC Chicago Treasurer Linda Kelley and chapter President Dan Dornbrook for their help and support in organizing this year's banquet.

The night was filled with fabulous food from Francesca's Amici, excellent networking opportunities, and, of course, the eagerly awaited award presentations. Congratulations to DCSA winner Linda Jansak, President's Award winner Kelly Oja, Volunteer of the Year Tom Lunde, and to all competition winners. A complete list of award winners has been posted on our website.
