It's that time of year again, time for the annual STC Chicago Chapter competition.
The plans are finalized, and the committee members are very excited about the competition this year. We encourage you to participate. The feedback you receive from the judging panel is invaluable.
Please note that STC is suspending the Technical Art category at the international level for the 2009 competition. However, that decision does not affect the Chicago Chapter's competition. STC Chicago continues to offer the Technical Art category in this year's local competition. While entries receiving awards in the Technical Art category at the local level cannot advance to the international competition, achievements acknowledged by your peers are important.
The entry dates and fees established for the 2009 competition follow, with no difference in the cost for entries whether you are a member or non-member. Please note that the later deadline incurs a higher fee per submission item. Entries received after October 23rd will be returned at cost to the submitter.

To submit your entries, please send four copies of each document or Help system, and three copies for each artwork item, along with the appropriate entry forms and payment. Payment for entries can be made by PayPal or check. For details on payments and forms, see the official Call for Entries at our website.
All entry samples are returned at the Awards banquet. Awards and entries that are not picked up at the banquet will be discarded unless payment for shipment is provided in advance.
