Membership renewal season is now underway at STC. If you have renewed your membership in the past few days, thank you! If you have not yet renewed, please take this opportunity to stay connected with STC and the STC Chicago community. You will be glad you did.

 

Our members have told us that active membership in STC has helped them to maintain an important professional edge in today's challenging marketplace. As you know, STC members enjoy a host of valuable member benefits. Today, I would like to remind you of two more reasons you should renew your membership by February 28, 2009.

 

You must renew by February 28 to be eligible to do the following:

• Vote in the 2009 STC election. This year, Society-level elections include two contested races. Your vote is important.

• Win a complimentary registration* to this year's Technical Communication Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. The winner's name will be drawn during the first week of March, and the winner notified shortly thereafter. To ensure that your name will be entered in the drawing, please remember to choose STC Chicago as your home community and renew by 2/28!
