We give away prizes at STC Chicago. Free registrations to conferences, books, and STC coffee mugs are all a part of the mix. Why, just last month we had the opportunity to give away a free pass to the 2008 Technical Communication Summit to one lucky STC Chicago member. Alison Somilleda's name was drawn from the pool of eligible STC Chicago members. Congratulations, Alison! We'll see you in Philadelphia!
We also gave away door prizes at our monthly meeting on April 17. David Brock won a free registration to Web Content 2008. Congratulations, Dave! Anna Miller and Linda Blatchford won copies of "The Highly Selective Thesaurus for the Extraordinarily Literate." Stupendous!
Let us know if you would like to donate to our prize stash. You can also help us find sponsors for our events. For more information about how you can support STC Chicago, contact pr@stc-chicago.org.
