Hi Folks!

Summer's here! Yay! I'm spending a lot more time outside. Me and my men's team even got a little skinny dipping in at """"" Lake! Refreshing! It's nice to act like we're young even when we're not. Which lake? Ask me at the meeting.

I suggest you read the RE NEWS to the right to get an idea of where the renter market is going in the US. It's good education for getting ready for this month's speaker topic.

We've got an interesting topic this month at our evening meeting: "How To Buy An Apartment Building". Yes, in 1 hour you will be all trained and be able to go out the next day and get that big property you always wanted! Ok, maybe not that quick. The speaker, Ralph Case, along with his partner Ozzie Jurock, have purchased many large multi-family properties all over BC. They have a system that works for them and they follow it rigorously. On July 31, Ralph will give us an overview
of that process.

What do you suppose is the first thing we must do to get ready for a big building buy? Get some money? Go find one? Nope. In my opinion, the first step is to DECIDE TO DO IT. Even before that we must know WHY we'd do such a momentous thing. Whys are things like "I want lots of passive income so I can travel alot more" or "I want a bigger building than Cheri Crause is going for so I can be a winner" or whatever. With a great WHY the decision to go for it is way easier IMO. That decision will likely produce a feeling in ones gut of excitement and anticipation. I think that if that feeling is not there then you haven't decided yet. Then after deciding to buy, we can begin all the other tasks (partners, money, where, when, etc). I think that if you do all the steps in the right order, the process will go smoothly and naturally.
