If you are not a sports fan you will be after you watch a Calaveras Jr. Redskins Football game.
The Jr. Redskins are compiled as follows:
Mighty Mites, Bantam, JV and Varsity
The Bantam team played the Summerville Cowboys on September 4th, 2010 and won by 19-0.

This month's speaker is, Lisa Mayo the Executive Director of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau and Film Commission. Lisa's presentation to the VSABA will address tourism and the economy, the CVB's marketing plan and how they leverage their dollars to further promote Calaveras. Please support the Valley Springs Community Arts and Music Association as we present our 2010 CONCERT SERIES.
The purpose of this Concert Series is to raise money to save and support the Calaveras Unified School District Band Programs for our kids.
With budget cuts from the state and revenues uncertain, we are taking a pro-active approach to support the arts in our schools and community.
This Concert Series will not only generate needed funds for our school music programs but is the pre-requisite of the Valley Springs Music Festival, a SIGNATURE EVENT for the community of Valley Springs. Click for the schedule |
