Global Business Connections 2012

Award-winning and best-selling actor, author, economist and lawyer Ben Stein will headline the 2012 Global Business Connections Conference, Wednesday, April 11, at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo, ND. In addition to the keynote address, GBC 2012 will be a one-day event consisting of a tradeshow and exhibits, breakout sessions designed to educate participants on specific issues related to international business, panel discussions featuring global business experts and a networking reception. The 2011 Global Business Awards, the most-prestigious international business awards in the region, will also be presented to the 2011 North Dakota Exporter of the Year and the International Business Resource of the Year.

February Trade Talk Give Attendees a Candid Look at Navigating Free Trade Agreements

More than 30 businesspeople and government officials from around the region got an up-close-and-personal look at navigating NAFTA and other Free Trade Agreements (FTA) at the Trade Talk that was held on Feb. 8 in Fargo. Bonnie Anderson of WTH International Services gave participants a candid look at FTA's citing examples from over 30 years of experience in international trade.
